Ask anyone who's ever lugged a 35 lb. backpack into the Uinta Mountains, and they'll tell you that fit, comfort, and functionality are nice features. Take 35 lbs. worth of wiggling toddler and his accessories on the local trails, and they become requirements. The Kelty Pathfinder features an auto-deploy kickstand, 5-point adult harness with padded hip belt, and removable hood. Design touches include climbing rope handles, washable cockpit pad. The child harness has split straps covered in soft fabric-easy to load the tyke and won't rub his neck raw. Buckles are covered to prevent the accidental pinch of tender skin. A cockpit pad makes the inevitable naptime comfy, and it's removable and washable so naptime drool cleans up easily. The large climbing rope handles makes it a cinch to hoist, and the adjustable torso makes the Pathfinder fit both Mom and Dad with the pull of a quick-release pin. The Pathfinder is feature-rich, so read the instructions before first use. Taking time to make a few adjustments will ensure a comfortable ride for both baby and parent. So, here's to Kelty for a job well done--we raise our sippy-cups in your honor.
