 The Camp Jade Harness is light and comfortable. Thoughtful touches like soft fabric against skin contact points, lightweight grid cell foam, and vibrant color, please both the waist and eye. The innovative no twist belay loop and auto fit leg system are standout features that make this harness safe. Many fixed buckle harnesses often necessitate squirming and gyrations due to the small size of the opening when pulling them up over the hips. The Jade was easy to put on due to an extra length of webbing - a wider and more accessible opening. This webbing is neatly stored under several elastic bands.
Two down sides; One, the gear loops lay too close to the harness and made racking carabineers awkward. Two, the Velcro tab was too short and instantly came unhooked attaching itself to pants or shirts. Its very function seemed a mystery in a harness that doesn't need to be held together to double pass the buckle. Overall, a great product for female climbers.
